This project is being carried out in the historic area located beyond the walls of Florence, between Porta Romana and Poggio Imperiale, inside a courtyard nestled among late 19th-century homes. The renovation of an old industrial factory, an unlikely structure in this area, will lead to the creation of a Residence housing 11 apartments. The planning phase was particularly complicated due to the problematic location of the building and the resulting problems regarding the regulations on distances to be respected between the various properties.  The project goal was to proceed with complete respect and regard for the refined Florentine architecture typical of the area, while upholding the productive origin of the building.
